Meridith A. ter Horst of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, and rests now in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
She was born to George and Clara (Huitma) ter Horst on March 4, 1942, in Grand Rapids and was a lifelong resident of the area. Meridith attended Calvin College, graduating with a degree in Education and for many years worked for Baker Publishing Group until her retirement.
Meridith loved to travel and always enjoyed the company of her close friends and family. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew her.
Meridith is survived by her brother-in-law, James Muller; nephew Joel (Trish) Muller; niece Dawn Muller; great nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Jenna, Lindsey, Rachel, and Brett; cousin Janice Belonga; and other beloved members of the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother George ter Horst; sister Mildred Muller; and nephew Jon Muller.
A memorial service will be celebrated by Rev. Nate DeJong-McCarron at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, in the chapel at Raybrook Manor, 2121 Raybrook Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service and refreshments to follow the service in the Friendship Room.
She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
