Obituary

Marcia Mulder a loving wife and mother met her savior Jesus this morning Feb. 7. She is survived by her husband Bob of 45 years, her four children and 11 grandchildren, Stacy (Bill) Pursifull (Hailey, Marli, Sydney, Ellie), Curt (Kate) Mulder (Rylie, Gideon, Abby), Mitch (Natalie) Mulder (Ava, Urban, Ezra) and Megan Mulder and Andrew Kubasiak (Scout). She is also survived by her father Henry, and brothers, Doug (Dorothy) Hunderman, and Don (Bev) Hunderman.

Marcia was a great lover of people, Gods creation, and gardening. She traveled extensively with both her husband and family over the years. Camping was a favorite pastime that has been passed down to the next generation of Mulders. Her love of nature was fostered by the many locations and sights visited over the years.

Her love of people extended far and wide. She worked at Grand Rapids Christian Schools for many years as a library and tech aide. She made many great friends with coworkers and students. She impacted many lives around her through her gift of listening. Her compassion for others was evident and she welcomed the chance to share this gift.

Most of all, Marcia was a great lover of God. She would weave that love into the fabric of her life in a way that quietly came out in everything she did. Her testimony was "simply trust in God and His promises."

A memorial service honoring Marcia will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 11am at Ada Bible Church Knapp Street Campus, 3869 Knapp St NE, in Grand Rapids, luncheon to follow the service. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-8pm at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, in Kentwood, and also 10-11am on Tuesday before the service at church.
