I am so sorry to hear of Kimberly's passing. She was a very sweet person. I took care of placing her orders at Lafayette Interior Fashions. I enjoyed talking with her through the years. She enjoyed talking about her kids and grand kids. She was so brave in her fight with cancer, and her faith in God was so strong. One of our last conversations was how she felt God brought her back to
Michigan for a reason.
I will truly miss her.

My sister Kimmy was just after me in the birth order of our family. I 18 months older, but we were very close. Kim was a sweet person and had a kind spirit like our mother. Kim liked everyone and made friends easily. Kimmy was loyal to a fault, determined, steadfast, honest, kind, generous and creative. Kim loved music and had a pretty good singing voice. Kim was a good sport and loved to laugh. She would tag along with one or two of her girlfriends whenever us boys were about. When we were short for baseball she would fill in. Kim wasn't very athletic, but she would do her best. When we learned to water-skiing, Kim wanted to try...even though she couldn't swim. She had great courage and loved life. Kim truly was one of those people who was beautiful inside and out. I was always proud of her and I feel blessed that she was my sister. My heart is heavy with grief that she passed from this life. I cherish the memories we shared together. Kim was not only my sister, but my closest friend. She was a shining light in our family and my world is a much smaller place without her in it. Kim was a special person and I loved her as much as anyone could love another. I will miss her more than I can say and I wish she could have stayed longer. I trust you are with our Lord in Heaven, Kimmy and greeted by all those who have gone before you. You are in my heart and in my prayers until we meet again. Your loving brother, Bob.
