We extend our sympathy to all of you in the loss of a precious Mother , grandmother and great grand.
I have a lot of fond memories of Jean from Bible studies at Alger as well as my walks in the neighborhood and I would just stop by. Jean babysat our daughter Beth when my Father died. I could not take a small child along on a fast trip to Iowa. We were both praying for God’s leading and met at Boorsma’s at the same time. I said my problem and Jean said I will take her. She had just prayed Lord what is your will for me today. I guess she came home and said to Linda “ You will never believe what I just did! Beth was about 2&1/2. I have a pic of her with her feet in Jean’s boots. I also went on a trip to Shipshewana with Jean and Caroline Vander Griend. They were interested In buying quilting material. I was just along for friendship.
May God bless each one of the family members with His Peace and great memories.

I also remember a trip with Jean and Caroline Vander Griend to Shipshewana. They were the artists and bought quilting material and other supplies. I was just along as a friend. We had a great time.
