Genevieve was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she spent most of her life. She later moved to Freeport, Michigan where she lived for several years before entering Brookcrest Nursing Home. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Genevieve would often say how she loved her life and always saw the very best in those she knew and loved. She was a strong woman and handled whatever life sent her way without losing that love .
She was a great animal lover, always taking in stray cats and sending what little extra money she might have to any causes that would help save them.
Due to COVID the family will have a private service.
In lieu of flowers donations to your local animal shelter would be her wish or Brookcrest Recreational Therapy % Brookcrest Skilled Nursing 3400 Wilson Ave. Grandville, Michigan 49418.
