Obituary

Seewald, Edward 4/29/1935 - 1/19/2020 Edward Eugene Seewald, 84, of Muskegon, passed away on January 19th, 2020 in Ferrysburg, MI. He was born on April 29th, 1935 to Anthony and Bernice (Freeman) Seewald. He attended North Muskegon High School, then spent 4 years in the armed forces and was employed by Kroger for over 20 years. He married Karol Evonne Goldsmith in 1955 who precedes him in death. He loved University of Michigan football, Detroit Tigers baseball and was a pitcher for local baseball teams for a number of years. Known as "Fast Eddie" for his pitch, he was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed for his smile, laugh, and easy going demeanor. He is survived by his three daughters, Karol (Bruce) Evans, Lonnie Daniels, & Gina (Robert) Loera, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial service to be held on Sunday March 1st, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at The Community Room at the Norton Shores Library (705 Seminole Rd).
