Cheryl Faye (Parker) VanSchoick, age 72, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 11, 2019. She was born on February 13, 1947 in Cass City, Michigan to George and Maxine Parker who proceed her in death. Cheryl married the love of her life on September 13, 1969, and was a loving and faithful wife to her husband Charles Edward VanSchoick II who will miss her immensely, and loving mother of two children daughter Kelly (Kevin) VanSchoick James and son Charles Edward VanSchoick III. She has five wonderful grandchildren that she thought the world of Cameron, Melaney, Brody, Lauren and Brooklyn and a very special great grandchild Lochlan Jay. She was one of six children, Jay (Sandy) Parker who proceeds her in death, Cathy (Al) Hewitt, Mark (Cindy) Parker, Scott (Nancy) Parker and Shaun Parker. Cheryl had many other loving friends and family. Special friends Bette Ann and Linda. She and her sister Cathy had a special bond and loved playing cards together. A special Auntie Faye and cousin Jeff who both proceed her in death. And many nieces and nephews. As a young person she worked at the Jackson Citizen Patriot newspaper, lived in Panama and also Germany and always had many fun interesting stories of these to tell. She was baptized on February 18, 1975, to her great God Jehovah to whom she was so faithful to and knew his promise to take away all her physical pain she endured so courageously. A memorial will be held on November 30, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in Wyoming, Michigan at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 5425 Burlingame Ave SW, Wyoming MI 49509.
